The Council of Private Investigators - Manitoba is a Manitoba non-profit corporation established to represent the interests of private investigators licensed in this Province.

The functions of the Council of Private Investigators - Manitoba include professional development seminars, lobbying on behalf of the industry on political issues of the day which may impact those in the industry, and consulting with the Registrar of the Private Investigators and Security Guards Act with respect to such incidents as unlicensed investigators and other matters of concern to the private investigation industry. It is the only organization of its type in the Province of Manitoba .
